Care Responsibilities
Your TMG IRIS consultant is your partner as you create a plan that meets your needs and stays within your IRIS budget. Your TMG IRIS consultant can connect you to resources in your area, and will be a great source of information for any questions you have about the IRIS program. In a self-directed program like IRIS, you decide who provides your support and services and when they happen. You may have natural support from people in your life, or you may choose to purchase the support you need from an agency or someone that you hire directly. Your TMG IRIS consultant will be there to talk through these decisions with you, and will help you put a plan in place that reflects your choices.

More about me
How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
The people I partner with are my top priority. I will work with them and their supports to develop a positive, trusting and professional relationship in order to understand their individualized needs. I will advocate and find appropriate resources to help them achieve their goals. I will do my best to listen actively to their needs and work as a team with them to identify individual outcomes and ensure those outcomes are being met.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
My favorite thing about being an IRIS Consultant (IC) is the value of self-direction and independence for the people in the IRIS program. I value the shared responsibility between the IC and the people they partner with in identifying what is important to the participants to develop person-center service plans. I believe each person is unique and their choices and preferences must be respected.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
I have experience working as a Hmong translator with Community Action Coalition of South Central Wisconsin for many years. Also, I have worked for Community Living Alliance for over 20 years as a Service Coordinator through the Community Integration Program (CIP II) and Community Options Program (COP). All of this has prepared me to be a knowledgeable IRIS Consultant who is excited to partner with you!
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, being outdoors, hiking, watching football and spending time with my kids.
