Care Responsibilities

Your TMG IRIS consultant is your partner as you create a plan that meets your needs and stays within your IRIS budget. Your TMG IRIS consultant can connect you to resources in your area, and will be a great source of information for any questions you have about the IRIS program. In a self-directed program like IRIS, you decide who provides your support and services and when they happen. You may have natural support from people in your life, or you may choose to purchase the support you need from an agency or someone that you hire directly. Your TMG IRIS consultant will be there to talk through these decisions with you, and will help you put a plan in place that reflects your choices.

Prior to coming to TMG, I worked as a program manager at St. Charles for eighteen years, working with both children and adults in various settings. I am trained and/or certified in dealing with domestic violence, trauma informed care, mental health issues and substance abuse issues, community building, Non-Violent Crisis intervention, adult mediation, smoking cessation, fetal alcohol syndrome, and suicide prevention/intervention. In addition, I have assisted with securing various tools that individuals can use in the home setting to live a more secure and self-determined life.

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
As we partner together, I will get to know you and your goals. From there, I will assist you in making an action plan that will help you achieve those goals. I will also work with you to identify services and or supports that are available to you at this time. This will help to maximize your IRIS budget and get the necessary care and support.

What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I believe in self-directed care because you are the expert in what’s best for you. I love to see people happy and prosperous in their life. As an TMG IRIS Consultant, I love seeing the people I partner with accomplish their goals.

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
Having 18 years experience in social services field, along with the education I’ve received and my personal experiences, have prepared me to become a passionate partner for you. I also am sure to listen to you as you take the driver's seat on the path toward the most meaningful life possible. I truly enjoy meeting people and learning new things every day.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, going to church, traveling, and exploring Wisconsin. I also love to spend time with friends, going to plays and movies, and going out to dinner when time permits.
