More about me

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
Working together with individuals in the TMG IRIS Consultant Agency allows me to learn what each individual's unique goals and needs may be. This team effort allows me to assist individuals in finding supports and services needed so they can reach their personal goals. Together we can work with the IRIS budget to implement services and find resources that will support your needs allowing each individual a path for becoming independent.

What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I enjoy learning about each of the persons I partner with. This partnership has allowed me to understand each person's strengths, talents and gifts they have to offer. By working with each individual, I am rewarded with the privilege of seeing individuals I partner with break down barriers and work towards independence in their daily lives.

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
As a parent and advocate for a son with a disability, I have worked for over 30 years towards equality and independence for persons with disabilities. These experiences have allowed me the privilege of learning, sharing and growing along with those persons whom I have had the pleasure of meeting. I continue to be rewarded on a daily basis as individuals I partner with share their life goals and experiences with me, allowing me to grow also. I hope to share this knowledge and power with the new persons I have the pleasure of working with.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy spending time with my family whenever possible. Travel and cooking are regular activities I enjoy with my six children, their spouses and seven grandchildren.
