More about me
How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
To me, partnering with a person in IRIS starts with listening to what their goals and needs are. Once they are established, the individual and I will work together on how best to achieve those goals. I will help with services and resources, and together we will complete a plan, utilizing the IRIS resources as best as possible.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
What I enjoy best about being a TMG IRIS Consultant is knowing I am helping people in IRIS establish and reach their goals. I believe everyone has the right to determine how they want to live. Self-directed care allows the each individual in IRIS to control the type of services they want, and who they want providing those services.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
For the past 18 years, I helped those I serve establish reachable goals for Wisconsin Works. A good part of the time was spent helping people with disabilities find employment or file for social security administration benefits.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy traveling, when time allows, I try to go somewhere new. I also enjoy spending time with my family. I come from a large family, we celebrate more than one birthday each month. If the weather allows I like to spend time outside with the kids.
