In a self-directed program like IRIS, you decide who provides your support and services and when they happen. You may have natural support from people in your life, or you may choose to purchase the support you need from an agency or someone that you hire directly. Your TMG IRIS consultant will be there to talk through these decisions with you, and will help you put a plan in place that reflects your choices.

Prior to working at TMG, I was a support and service coordinator for the children's long-term support waiver, which I really enjoyed. I’m very knowledgeable about the Medicaid waivers, and have a lot of experience helping children and families identify resources and supports to address their long-term goals.

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
As your TMG IRIS Consultant, I will be a part of your team. I will get to know you, and gain an understanding of your long-term goals by listening closely to what you want, as well as learn how you would like to achieve those goals. I will provide support, encouragement, and insight along the way.

What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I like helping people achieve their goals, whatever that may be. Sometimes that's helping people find resources or services to help them live a more self-determined life, or sometimes it’s simply being there to listen to them and be an effective partner.

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
I have over 5 years of experience working with children with physical, developmental and mental health disabilities. This has given me great experience to partner with you as your TMG IRIS Consultant and help you find supportive resources and work towards your goals.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy taking photographs of nature, kayaking, cooking, and reading.
