How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
Asking the tough questions and getting to know what someone wants and needs to maintain a quality, independent life assists in setting up a clear path for those we partner with.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I enjoy working with those I partner with to solve problems to make life a bit easier. I like the ability to get to know those I partner with and steer them toward options to enrich their lives. I also learn from them, which not only helps me but others I work with.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
The case management position I held gave me the experience in developing trusting relationships and how to juggle tasks from many different people. Working in care facilities exposed me to the trials that occur when health issues arise with loved ones and what is important in a person's life.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy cooking and collecting recipes. I like to entertain family and friends whenever I have time. I'm addicted to any farmerÆs markets and enjoy a nice long walks. Exercise and health living habits are more of a focus the older I get. Time with family is the most precious.
