More about me

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
Partnering with someone to help clear the path ahead is different for everyone. I don't have a cookie-cutter approach when it comes to supporting people and their families. I like to listen to individuals and really get to know them so we can determine which path might be the right one for them. If the first path isn't all that we thought it would be, we can veer to another path and continue doing so until we find one that works.

What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I truly love meeting new people and learning more about them. I enjoy seeing individuals succeed and am there to help support and encourage them in any way I can. I believe anyone can flourish with the right assistance.

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
I have worked with people with disabilities for more than 25 years. I was a TMG IRIS Consultant for four years prior to moving to a new role with TMG as a Community Partnership Specialist. I provided community outreach and discovered new resources for TMG. After that position ended, I spent a couple of months working for a Managed Care Organization. I quickly learned that TMG was where my heart was, so I easily transitioned back to TMG as an IRIS Consultant.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy spending time with my immediate family, which includes my husband and five children. Watching my kids participate in any activity is at the top of my list. I appreciate time spent with extended family as well. We recently purchased a pontoon, so I am certain more boating is in my future. I also have two dogs, a Lab/Boxer named Luna and a Great Dane named Leni, along with two cats, Lucy and Lilo.
