More about me
How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
For me, partnering with people to clear the path ahead means working with the person to develop plans to achieve their goals, and to find the necessary supports for their long-term care needs. This puts person in a position where they can be successful in their community, home and in their personal lives. I enjoy helping a person develop their independence while creating a positive learning environment where skills can be retained for future use.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
My favorite thing about being a TMG IRIS Consultant is allowing members to choose their path for their cares so their lives can be supported in a positive and comfortable way. I am a firm believer that individuals should have the right to choose who cares for them, and that their care plans should be person-centered.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
I have spent the past six years working in the Family Care program through a Managed Care Organization, helping member manage their long-term care needs. Prior to that, I spent 5 years case managing adult day services and prevocational services for member's/participants with developmental disabilities.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time, you’ll catch me outside hiking, biking, skiing, running half marathons, or running after my kids and fur babies.
